I am preoccupied with the constructed “beauty” in today’s society. I explore the possibilities and variation of beauty and the transparent line between femininity and masculinity. My aesthetics derive from art from the renaissance period, nostalgia from the 60’s of my parents youth to the 90’s of my childhood, and the creative uses and combinations of colour.
Isabelle Lane lives and works in Naarm / Melbourne. She completed a Diploma of Photo and Photo Imaging in 2020, A Certificate IV in Photo and Photo Imaging in 2019 and Certificate III in Screen and Media (Multimedia) in 2018. Isabelle has exhibited in ‘Zeal"‘ a group photography exhibition at Mr Morris in 2018, a charity group auction ‘Dichromatic Development’ at Testing Grounds. 2019, group exhibition at No Vacancy, 2019.
